How Reader-Supported Curation Works (In Plain English)

IReallyDontNeedThis is reader-supported; when you buy through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission.

Our mission is simple: we hunt down the weirdest, funniest, and most delightfully unnecessary gadgets on the internet and package them into an interactive Swipe Deck and Live Impulse Receipt. Running our servers, automated dead-link sweepers, and editorial curation takes time and coffee money.

• Zero Extra Cost to You: Clicking an affiliate link on IReallyDontNeedThis.com never increases the price you pay. Whether you follow our link or go directly to Amazon, Etsy, or a specialty retailer, the price at checkout is identical.
• Editorial Independence First: We do not list products solely to earn a commission. We regularly feature weird inventions, concepts, and artisan creations with zero affiliate program attached simply because they are too cool or hilarious to ignore.
• No Cloaked Links: We believe in complete transparency. When a product is sold on Amazon, our outbound buttons link transparently to amazon.com using our official associate tag (?tag=ireallydont-20), or to partner merchants via Awin, Kickbooster, and Skimlinks.
• Price & Stock Freshness Disclaimer: Because merchant prices fluctuate hourly, all prices shown on our Swipe Deck cards and Live Impulse Receipt represent approximate prices at the time of publishing. Always click through to the merchant page to verify the live price and stock availability before purchasing.
